The Standard Horizon GX5500S is the big brother of the GX5000S. The GX5500S offers all the commercial functionality of the GX5000S with an alphanumeric keypad and separated dedicated high performance Class D channel 70 receiver. Meeting Transport Canada requirements for ship installations of closed construction that are more than 8m in length, carrying more than six passengers and towing vessels is no simple feat, however the GX5500S has the certificate.
